I came by the Crème of Nature Leave-in Conditioner at Wal-Mart about 10 months ago when I went to pick up my usual leave-in, but it was not in stock. I really needed a leave-in, so I picked up the product to try. I bought the treatment oil a few weeks later as I also ran out of my usual oil from ORS. They retail from $10-$14CDN at beauty supply stores, Walmart, Target and Shoppers Drugmart. Below is my review of the products.
Strength and Shine Leave-in Conditioner
I have been using the leave-in for over a year and it has become a staple in my regimen. The 3 key product claims that convinced me buy the products are that, it revitalizes chemically treated (i.e; relaxed) hair, it moisturizes hair, and protects against heat styling.
The leave-in is a 2-phase formula. When settled, the Argan oil floats atop the solution. To use the product, I ‘shake to activate’ by turning the bottle sideways a few times. Once mixed, I hold it about 3 inches away, and spray it evenly into my hair. I use it after wash and let it sit for about 10mins before styling.
I like this product because it lives up to its claim. It moisturizes my hair and never weighs it down. Another thing to note is that it smells amazing! The scent reminds me of the Morocanoil line. The product also dispenses well from the container, another plus!
Argan Oil Treatment
Looking at the ingredient lists, Argan oil is listed as the 4th, which is a significant amount. This was my main reason of purchase. The oil has become a staple in my regimen because it works. It is my go-to oil for frequent styling, and for sealing my ends. I really like the tangerine colour and consistency; it also smells amazing! Though the oil is thick, it doesn’t weigh down my hair, nor leave a greasy feel. The oil works so well at moisturizing that I often use it to moisturize my hands (It’s that good :p).
Overall, I really like the leave-in and treatment oil as they leave up to their claim. When paired together, they work really well to moisturize, seal and style my hair.
Have you tried these (or other) Crème of Nature products?
